JU-Biman final today
Jahangirnagar University moved into the final of the Public University & Services cricket tournament after an easy 105-run win over Dhaka University at the BKSP in Savar yesterday.
They take on Bangladesh Biman in the final today at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.
After rain stopped the match on Saturday, DU needed 223 from 47 overs with eight wickets in hand but apart from Asadul Habib, none of the remaining batsmen had an answer.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Habib struck 60 off 85 balls with the help of four boundaries as DU were bowled out for just 127 runs in 35.2 overs.
Hasanul Banna picked up three wickets while there was two each for Ali Hossain and Foyaz Ahmed.
